Big Pants are out!

 I never completely understood the whole big pants frenzy; much like how I never understood why the band Rusted Root ever had fans. I saw a fashion spread in the all new SPIN magazine marking the return of new wave gear. Break out your zippered v-neck sweatshirt! I want to go back to North High to see if they're break dancing in the locker room again. Maybe it's not too late to learn. I'm at the cozy Plan B Coffee Shop in Uptown Minneapolis watching the dorky rave-kid culture recover from a night of extacy and whippits...They haven't caught on that big pants are out.


Another New York November.
It's been a year since I was in New York last. I recently decided to start missing life in NYC, so my melancholy bitch-ass used up all of my frequent flyer miles to visit for Thanksgiving. For once, something that is timed right...SisterSho will be having her baby around then and it's one of those family holidays to boot. I soooo miss the FamilySho. It's just time (I may even see CousinSho Ben!). So if you're gonna be in NYC late November, let me know and we'll have a pitcher of thick beer at Malachys and stumble to the 2 train at 4AM!
